Often you have to be stricter if you have to deal with discipline for your kids. At the beginning, perhaps some of you will feel stressful. It is normal condition but you should pretend as if you were fine in front of your kids. This is aimed to prevent them from getting stress also. You have to make sure your teaching skills are beneficial and applicable to teach your kids.
You have to be discipline in anything if you want the kids become discipline. The will imitate every single thing you do included what you do in teaching and learning process. This can be a full-time job if you cannot plan well. To make it easier, start by making a schedule for the kids’ activities related to the studies in a week. Then you have to make sure they follow the schedule. In certain cases, you may give them time out for not being disciplined. However, this does not mean you have to be strict all the time. Many times, you are required to be more patience especially when they do not comprehend the teaching material. In explaining something, your duty is finding the easiest method and sentences based on their level of study.
It is normal if they do not get what you are explaining in the first time. Just be patient and remember you perhaps were in the same situation when you were kid. Do not forget to set the interaction time for your kids with other children. For instance you can support them to join scouting, sport club, summer camp, reading club etc.
